Meet The Doctors

Quang Nguyen, od

Dr. Quang Nguyen graduated from Oregon State University in 2009. He then attended Illinois College of Optometry where he received his Doctorate of Optometry in 2013. Dr. Nguyen went on to complete a residency at Lake City Veterans Hospital where he specialized in ocular disease and low vision. Dr. Nguyen provides comprehensive eye evaluations and manages a variety of ocular diseases such as; glaucoma, diabetes, dry eyes, and anterior/posterior conditions. He co-manages cataract and LASIK patients. In his free time, he likes spend time with his wife Jenn, daughters Hailey and Ellie, and maltese puppy Chloe. If he can manage time away from his busy schedule, he’ll also play a round of 18 at the golf course!

Dennis Tran, OD

Dr. Tran attended the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas and is an alumnus of The University of Washington. GO DAWGS!!! With a deep passion for eye care and patient wellness, Dr. Tran is dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive eye care at Juanita Vision Clinic. Committed to using the latest technologies and techniques, Dr. Tran ensures that each patient receives the best care possible, whether it’s routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, or treatment for eye conditions. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys playing golf with his wife and friends and cheering on the Seahawks on Sundays.

AMY GU, OD

Dr. Amy Gu completed her Bachelors of Science from the University of Waterloo in 2020. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry also at the University of Waterloo in 2024. Upon graduation from optometry school, Dr. Amy Gu received the prestigious Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO) Leadership Award – provided annually to the member of the graduating class who demonstrates academic excellence and leadership that is reflective of the CAO’s values of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and impact. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Gu is excited to be on the west coast and looks forward to exploring Washington state and experiencing all its natural beauty. Outside of clinic, you may spot her at local cafés or at the public library. Dr. Amy Gu can provide eye exams in English, Mandarin, and limited French and Japanese.

Kelly

Kelly, a Kirkland native, joined the Juanita Vision Clinic team in January 2016 as the front desk manager. Her enthusiasm for frames and the selection process quickly led her to become our lead optician, where she’s always eager to help you find the perfect pair! On her days off, Kelly loves spending time with her boyfriend and their five dogs, binge-watching TV shows or movies, and diving into a good book. She’s passionate about supporting local businesses and exploring the Pacific Northwest, so if you have any fantastic food recommendations, don’t hesitate to share them with her!

Anna

Our billing specialist and tech, Anna, is a Washington native who briefly lived in Utah. She joined Juanita Vision Clinic in July 2016 after 12 years in the beauty industry. In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and Dude the cat. A travel lover and avid hiker, she has set a goal to visit all of the national parks.
